If you're a weekend Crafter like me, you probably have a lot of crafting junk all around to get messed up depending on the project you're working on now.
Over the years I have found various ways to my craft and sewing supplies in a way that actually think they can organize it again when I need it. When I was in the process of organization have been able to identify the elements that I no longer needed, and the rest into logical groups to be separated. As a result, I now have all my supplies limited to a corner of a room and well-organized. Now I can find things when I need it.
When I started ordering all my deliveries were all put together in a large number of boxes in a difficult to reach cabinet. The first thing I did not dump each box into a big pile and start sorting. My field is: lace, trim, buttons, quilting supplies, cross stitch supplies, pink ribbon, scraps of fabric, books, crafts, andmisc.
First, I threw away the chance and ends I knew I never be used again. So I bought two large Rubbermaid containers (great for stacking) to store my tax kg may be more, depending on how many points you have accumulated. I also bought a gallon-sized ziploc bags.
I sorted through all the lace trim and put in a ziploc bag and trim in another. Ribbon roses went in another. I have all the buttons in a plastic container with differentspace – in order of color. All of these elements, in addition to several others. like styrofoam balls, paper, canvas, plastic, in a Rubbermaid container.
All my quilting and cross section deliveries (mostly scraps of fabric and fabric cross stitch) in the second container.
All my unfinished projects in a cardboard box, and all my threads for plastic canvas projects in a second.
Containers and boxes stacked one above the other and fit well in a smallsquare "craft table" I sat in a corner of my office at home. These are all removed and everything is easier to identify.
Above the table I keep little projects that works as a cross-stitch, or photo albums for the work of scrap. My embroidery thread is organized by DMC number in plastic containers made for storing embroidery thread. These containers are stacked on the table.
My thread sewing machine on a wooden board organized by a smallshields you can buy that is designed to hold spools of thread. My sewing machine sits on the floor beside the table, while the boats are not in use.
Along my craft table and a cupboard that is sold independently as a small closet, which you can find at Wal-Mart for about $ 100. Cupboard I store a large amount of multivalent elements like my glue guns, all types of glue, paper, scissors, and all my scrapbooking supplies. This cupboard works great for the voices of other family members also make use of afate, as the tape and scissors. My knife and long stapler are stored on top of the cabinet.
I also have other libraries in my office, I spent a couple of shelves in one of them to organize my craft and sewing books. The books are arranged by type of vessels.
All my small sewing supplies I keep in a couple of small sewing baskets that I can go with me from room to room. In these I keep sewing needles, embroidery scissors, meter, pins, Seam ripper, etc.
We hope that these ideas should help you get started with your craft and sewing supplies to organize. It is much more pleasant to work on projects when you know what you have and where everything is.
